Gabre: Just me who is tired of hearing people reference to FAILbook (facebook)? Just drop the stupid group and the useless spam
started 198 days agoThere is no point in facebook, 99% of it is useless, it's good for doing social engineering and stalking people - and oh yeah the stupid free games which steals whatever info they can get their hands on...
xD if facebook goes something else will fill the void you can not win man
Maybe not, but facebook isn't really helping on privacy and security online either...
Like people posting that they are on vacation (if I even bother posting about it I'll do it when I get home again) - it's too easy for a thief to view people's pages and then being sure that they got no problems at all robbing someones house that week...
IMHO, while I'm not pro-Facebook either, its service is the most secure compared to, let's say, MySpace. Besides that though, no one really cares that it's a social networking site. They're all there for those free games like Mafia Wars and Farmville. One funny statistic is that we're all going to see more of those kinds of games and less of all the discs in boxed ones we know of.
The only problem is that those games are more mindless than any you can buy in a shop. There seems to be no point than pure farming, and without any social interaction what so ever. It's funny how people judge online gamers and then still play games for hours on facebook themselves.
